Explorer
Explorer calls accept GET (and POST): parameters go in the query string, the body is empty. With a key, sign the same path with the query string, and use GET instead of POST in the signed string. {CHAIN} is a network code from chains: short (without -mainnet) or full. CVC may open these calls without a key; the limit is then counted by IP address. Data comes from the CVC index, not directly from a node. A network without an explorer — 404 A026.
Lists come in pages of 100: page starts at 1, the response has page and pages. Amounts are strings in units of the network coin.
ping
GET or POST /v1/ping, no key and no limits — for availability monitoring. Response: {"code": 200, "message": "ok"}
chains
List of networks with a public index: chain is the short code for the path, network is the full code, name, coin and status — the sync status, as in lastblock.
chains/{CHAIN}/lastblock
node_height is the latest known network block, indexed is the latest block in the index (height, hash, time), lag_blocks is the index lag in blocks, progress is the share of the chain processed, in percent. stale: true — the index is unavailable right now and the response comes from the cache. Index unavailable and no cache — 503 A009 with Retry-After.

coin | The network coin and its rate — the same fields as in rates, updated_at is the rate time. |
blockchain | height is the latest known network block, size_bytes is the chain size on the node disk as is (size_on_disk), size_observed_at is the time of measurement (refreshed about every 15 minutes). |
index | The indexer: status and synced, as in lastblock, height is the latest processed block, lag_blocks, progress, blocks_per_second is the speed over the last minutes, eta_seconds is the estimated time to catch up with the network (0 — caught up, null — unknown), updated_at is the latest successful indexer step. |
size_bytes, archive_bytes, addresses_bytes | How much the network index takes: archive_bytes is the block and transaction archive (exact), addresses_bytes is the share of the node address database, shared by its networks, proportional to the number of addresses (an estimate), size_bytes is their sum. |
donor | The node the indexer takes blocks from: status is its health by the check, synced — it is not behind the network more than allowed, height, lag_blocks, latency_ms and checked_at — the check time. The node address and name are not disclosed. |
chains/{CHAIN}/blocks
Blocks from the index tip downwards: height, hash, time, tx_count, size. Pages shift as new blocks arrive.
chains/{CHAIN}/block/{BLOCK}
{BLOCK} is a block height or hash. The block header, confirmations from the network height and transactions page by page: txid, position, size, fee, total_output, coinbase. A block not in the index — 404 A027.

A transaction from an indexed block: block, confirmations, fee, sizes, inputs (address and value of the spent output) and outputs (address, value, script type, which transaction spent it and at what height) page by page. Mempool and unknown transactions — 404 A027.

Balance from the index (balance, received, spent, utxo_count, first and last block) and event history page by page: block_height, time, txid, direction (in — received, out — spent), index — the output or input number, value. The direction parameter (in or out) keeps one direction. A valid address the network has not seen — zeros; an invalid format — 400 A002.
